Harbour's UK city guide

Our city hotels are each brimming with a distinct charm, ready to be discovered.

We've put together a handy guide for whatever UK city break you're looking for, whether that's slow moments in the spa, exploring historic and iconic landmarks or getting the cocktails flowing at a rooftop party.

Right in the centre of the action and only 60 seconds away from the pebbled beach, our hotel is the place for exploring the bohemian city of Brighton. Spend the night soaking up the nightlife starting with cocktails in our vibrant bar and heading out for a late night boogie. The next morning, our spa is where you'll be detoxing. With bubbling hot tubs, a steamy sauna and a sumptuous massage, you'll feel brighter in no time.

Enjoy a succulent seafood dinner in The Jetty before heading to our rooftop bar, HarBAR on 6th, where evening drinks turn into late night sessions. You'll boogie by the DJ as the marina twinkles below before heading to an oh-so-comfy bed. In the morning, a hearty breakfast will sort you out before heading out the hotel to explore Southampton and shop in the famous West Quay shopping centre.

Our spa garden is an oasis in the city. The whirl of central London is only a short train journey from us to explore iconic landmarks but it'll feel worlds away as you're submerged in a steamy hot tub in the crisp open air. Enjoy restorative Temple Spa and Elemis Expert treatments, take a dip in our 20-metre indoor pool and relish moments of solitude as you're strolling through scenic Richmond Park.

Guildford's town centre is lined with shopping galore, from the latest fashion to luxury homeware that's not to be missed. Our spa will be waiting to ease any tired feet while our HarBAR restaurant is always serving up a storm of succulent burgers, classic fish and chips and delicious salads.

Uncover astonishing Roman mosaics, significant archaeological sites and the beautiful Chichester Cathedral, minutes from the hotel. Our hotel itself is an impressive Grade II listed historic townhouse originally built for local hero Admiral Sir George Murray. With a subterranean spa and in-house restaurant, it blends contemporary interiors with period features.

A chic inner-city treat for the tastebuds, our Harbour Kitchen showcases the finest flavours of the West Country while the speakeasy style Gold Bar shakes up eclectic cocktails. This foodie scene flows throughout Bristol's city centre with popular markets such as St Nicolas Market, where you'll find delicious food stalls.
