Expanding the group's presence into the North of England, Harbour Hotels is excited to announce the recent acquisition of the four AA Silver Star Rothay Garden Hotel in the Lake District's Grasmere.

Previously managed by Bespoke Hotels, the property has been rebranded as Rothay Garden by Harbour Hotels, and will now undergo a non-intrusive refurbishment programme, continuing to trade as normal while the group introduces the trademark Harbour Hotels' style and comforts throughout.

Set at the foot of the fells within two acres of riverside gardens on the edge of picturesque Grasmere village, Rothay Garden by Harbour Hotels is a boutique countryside hideaway with an array of outdoor activities to enjoy right on its doorstep.

With every element of the hotel inspired by its rural surroundings, many of the hotel's 32 bedrooms and suites boast Lakeland views and balconies overlooking the banks of the River Rothay. Available to book now, the newly refurbished private accommodation, the Riverside Lodge, can accommodate up to eight guests. 

The hotel is also home to a two AA Rosette restaurant, bar and lounge with sweeping garden views and an extensive terrace where guests can marvel at the views of the fells. Hotel guests can pamper tired feet and soothe aching muscles in the Riverside Spa after a day exploring, complete with a hydrotherapy pool with sunken loungers, a herbal pine sauna, an aromatherapy room, infra-red loungers and monsoon experience showers.
